Its back again post your Q&A's here.

Ill leave off with the last post from the old thread.

So Check This Out

I put a bleed in my vac line(greenline) for my wga, the car spikes 19/20 and holds it all the way to like 4000/4500 rpm then drops to 16, sweet, i guess?

Im racing a buddy whatever its all good, a guy in a s2000 tries me and I beat his ass now as Im driving away I shift third and give it some gas and the car bounces (like the bounce you get when your in gear at low rpms and you take your foot off the gas) and theres a loud boom

I then notice the car is boosting 12psi, Im like wtf
I pull over and I see the bleed I put in the line blew off the vac hose, so I was like ok.

Drove home nice and slow and decided to wake up the next morning and figure it out. I wake up take the intake off and decide to do the bleed again and use the bleed line that agp ships with the wga, I also notice*****IMPORTANT***** the pink line that runs to the stock surge valve had come off. So i plug that back in check all the other lines and its all gravy, I run the car and it would peak 18 and hold 15 wtf, so I made the hole a little bigger on the bleed, peaks 19/20 holds 16/17 sweet. I also shortened the green line, I took the part that goes into the turbo took it off and used the other part of the green line.

When Im in 3rd gear the boost gauge dial moves alot in between 18/19 and 16/17psi and settles at about 16/17 at redline, it dosent do it in 2nd gear.

I was driving home earlier today and the car boomed again and I was only boosting 12, and this time only the pink line had come off. wtf.

Also in 4th gear my tranny dosent wanna hold the gear, I have to hold down the shifter with some force
It dosent do it at high speeds only at low speeds.

Alright Questions
1.I know why my first bleed came out, it wasnt tight enough, but why did the pink line come off twice, I was flooring it?
2. Why is the car holding more boost to redline now, the bleeds i have were about the same size maybe a little different?
3.Why is the gauge going nuts?
4.Whats up with my tranny?

Ok I think I asked enough Thanks

That reminds me of this time, this guy was too lazy to tighten the nuts on TopOfNewJersey's wastegate so he just shoved a phillips screwdriver into the bleed to turn up the boost, ahhh memories.
zipi tie all your vac lines...and if ur really feelin up to it replace the cheap chrysler clamps on ur hoses with stronger ones. i blew the pink line off and the clamp for one of the coolant lines before. not fun. i had coolant and white smoke everywhere...
Sweet yeah I've zip tied most of the vacs allready b/c I dont want them to fall off.

So what should I do next to my car most of you know what I have so whats the next best and most cost effective thing I can do.

Thanks again

Yeah and then I saw it and yelled at you two...
I forgot what you have on your beast bubba. I'd suggest a throttle body or maybe the wideband... i think thats what its called. When was your last tune up?

I'd like to actually pose a question for you bubba. I have a mbc that mounts under hood. How about some pics of mounting positions???? I yeah, have a couple ideas, anybody find a great spot to mount under our hood??? Thanks in advance Bubba & Co.
Yeah I have a friend that has a mbc under the hood and I think the last time I saw it he had it close to his brake master cylinder I gotta check again and Ill see if I can get some pics for you.

Throttle bodys not a bad idea and yeah I think its wideband o2 sensor?

Or you could get all types of badass like Jay (nevertoomuch) and put some cams on her. It makes your car sound mean, well that and exhaust. Not sure of the hp/performance gains but you'd have to get her tuned again if you did the cams. If your only going for track gains then the turbo upgrade has to be on your mind as well. But Amy (PSi Chick) said that the PPE coilovers make exponential differences at the track. Mainly due to the fact that you can "lock" up the rear end and in essence eliminate the weight shift.
I would suggest motor mounts! solid top, bottom and tranny mounts. then get the Mopar STS w/booger bushings. and pick up a boost controller. if u plan on keeping the stock turbo then get the maxxfabb exhaust (modified borla exhaust w/3" downpipe). if u plan on a turbo upgrade then get a full 3" all the way back.

suspension helps a lot...here's my current suspension set-up:
Mopar Stage 1 Springs
Prothane urethane suspension bushing kit
ACR/PT Cruiser sway bars
Toyo Proxes 4 tires (225-45-17ZR...don't get 225s until u get a wider rim than stock)
JLM Motorsports top and bottom motor mounts

It is a relatively inexpensive set-up that gets rid of wheel hop, drops the car an inch, and rides like a champ! but when i get some money i'm gonna put in the IPP coilovers.

--- best place to mount the boost controller is as close to the wga as possible. behind the battery seems to be a popular spot since u can zip tie it near the cluster of wires and it's easy to adjust.

Nice jigga i was gonnna be pissed if you forgot lol. F'n rain, i gotta get up early and do it before work one day. Im too lazy tho.
Yea, rain sucks ass..LOL...I did the fastest oil change of my life last night cause I was timing it in between rain showers.
Seriously I hate the rain dude, everytime I wash the car it rains no matter how sunny it is outside.

Quick Question I think I know the answer- Our cars take atf4 tranny fluid right?
Thanks

YUP :bigthumb:
03's take only atf+4 if there was no lsd or phantom grip added and is still open diff...

Any 04-05' trans and 03's converted to lsd need 4 ounces of lsd friction modifier added to the atf+4...

Just noticed that and corrected it for you...
LMAO...thanks BlackDragon, i left that part out cause i'm one of the cool people with an 03! I gave my friction modifier to Mike...lol
Not correcting, only clarification...

It's all good
Thanks jigga and black dragon, my only problem is...

were the hell do I get atf4 Ive checked advance auto parts and pep boys is the dealer the only place I can go to get the fluid.
as far as my experience, the dealer is the only place i have found it, besides, i would stick with the mopar atf anyways... kno it works well
I concur with the pink shirt guy...stick with the Mopar from any dealership. most of them have it in stock, if they dont they'll get it for u by the next day.
