step away from the map clamp please

no but seriously, you can blow your motor if you dont know what your doing. ill let someone else fill you in on the rest, i need to rest up for school tomorrow :)
in a nut shell, it makes the computer think you are running less boost then u are, so u can run more boost without pulling timing, it also leans out the mixture... to use the mapclamp, u need to tune it with a wideband and or dyno tune it... personally i think u should always have a wideband when doing that stuff bec things like the weather can change how the car is running and u would never know if u didnt have a wideband
PM DasMopar on the *other forum* or buy an e-manage (more expensive but far superior).. drop vehicle off at my house, give money, pick up few hours later and have 15 more whp... :)
thanks for the help, i was thinkin bout buyin the greddy eo-1 and the emanage...
Does the mapclamp make it safe for you to run high amounts of boost without upgrading to bigger fuel injectors? Like would I be able to run 20lbs safely on Stage 1

No. The safest way for you to run more boost without upgrading to larger injectors is to get a FPR. This way you can run more pressure through the fuel system based upon boost. Before my FPR, i would spike 19pbs and 16 at redline and my A/F's were high, like 12.5:1. With the FPR, i was sooo pig rich with the same setup, that I had to actually clamp my voltage around 4 volts (11psi) to get the injectors to stop spraying so much.

Your best friend to max out your turbo is going to be a rising rate fuel pressure reg, and either an emange or dtec. Loads of options and tons of power.
yeah thats what i do in my car now.. spike right around 18-19 and hold only 15.. its safe i was assuming tho right? How much is an FPR and how much? Would it just be worth it to get the Fuel kit?
return line setup is going to run you anywhere from 350-450 depending on which kit you deside to buy. Is it worth it? Depends on what your plans are for the car... if you plan on going big turbo, or nitrous or making as much HP as you can possible on a stock turbo, then yes, get one.
