In around 4 business days or so. Now I just hope I can use it with my boost controller effectively.

Also being that my PTB will raise itself to go-fuck-yourself proportions now....

Wasn't there a post on the SRTforums that solved the PTB lean-out. I fully understand why the PTB lean-out exists and have a pretty good idea what could solve it but I thought someone else posted it or something else that would make it safe to PTB as much as needed .

My idea is to splice into the 5V refernce from the TPS sensor then run it through a pressure switch (7.5 to 8 psi) and the from the pressure switch to then go back to the PCM's TPS input.

Essentially when the boost goes up past a certain level. It'd make the computer think the throttle is full and thereby go into open loop (power enrichment not pre-warm up) mode.

TADA no matter if the boost goes as far it can given the throttle position it'll have enough fuel becuase the computer will inject the appropriate amount of fuel.

PTB Mod :bigthumb:
good stuff.... why the hell isn't that thing stickied!!!
yeah its called dont keep ur foot halfway on the gas..
Not possible espescially in an autocross or road course. Partial power must be available to me. The throttle can't be an on/off switch for me.

thanks again dominion and your dash of humor dred ;)

nobody else wants to congratulate me on my purchase? :(
Congrats, I can't understand a single thing from post #1-but congrats.
i didnt read the post but im hoping the tps will use the voltage to understand how much fuel to dump cause i feel that if it goes into wot fuel trims (lets just say 10.5) at low psi u well lose alot of power!! 10.5 is even on the rich side for wot let alone 5/7psi...but then again i didnt read how it works so im not sure <- read as loop hole for no foot in mouth lol

im not an expert on autox but i know theres classes, will something as emanage put u in a different class? cause that way you dont have to worry about ptb lean issues and ur car will scream in midrange wit the timing and fuel tunning you can do!! midrange = god for autox no?

my 2.5 cents lol

ill read that post and then edit if i have too hehe
edit: ok i did read the how to post, but i dont feel like reading the whole 12pages ahah but by the looks of things im right. the car will dump fuel and not go lean, BUT ull lose of hp by boggin wit fuel <-read: SAFE! but not hp worthy...so long story short, if you are doin this for safety then this is the key! but if emanage doesnt put u in a different class save up!

p.s where da fook you been man!? u need to come back up to avaiation!

If I were you and I'm not, but if i were... I would get a dual stage boost controller. Have your low boost so for 8 lbs and your high boost set for whatever you want. This way you can actually get on it with less boost and not require all that power and for the longer straits, flip the switch and have max power

Dont say its to much either...if you were... because they make steering wheel mounted electronc swtiches made specifically for that for a greddy specb BC
I have a greddy profec B spec II. So technically I have a three stage boost controller

It was my understanding that the AGP WGA had a spring tension greater than 8. But I'm not sure about that

I have been working man.... I'll be there the 1st though.

The point of the mod is safety not performance. 10.5:1 is leaner than the 8:1 my 200 would go to if 5psi was exceeded (open loop is tripped by air flow not TPS there is no real TPS on the car) and it also is the purpose of this mod.

If you want optimal power you'd put your foot down further ;) but I don't think the power would be off too much versus if it was a "touch" leaner.

Emanage would not bump me out of my current class. But I'll need a big turbo If I "need" some sort of enhanced timing and fuel trim tool.

DTEC's are too fucking expensive for my taste right now. 470 + a Game boy advance. "kiss my dick"
