so basically if i wanted to i could change the amount of psi if i use an actuator, u get to set your own boost?
yes
you can adjust the boost by tightening/loosing the nut on the wga (wastegate actuator) or you can use a boost controller along with the wga and set the wga at a constant and use the bc to control the boost

its easy to put on yourself...
and you just have to adjust it then drive your car and see what it boosts.
then adjust accordingly to get what you want. most people set the wga to about 15-16 psi then use a boost controller to up the boost after that. if you have an ebc (electronic boost controller - i recommend the greddy profec b spec 2) then you can adjust the boost from inside your car while you drive.
