I recently installed a PnP intake mani and a kinetic 60mm tb

when i put everything back together, the wires ripped out of my IAC, but they are still intact with the copper connectors on the ends of the wires...

i put them back in the sensor connector and everything was back the way it should be, and the wires seemed to be making a connection, so i started the bad boy up... well the car shot straight up to redline.

im currently throwing two codes... P0508 and P2074

Which are for intake mani pressure, and the other is for the IAC

is one related to the other? if the IAC isnt working, it wouldnt shoot to redline right? cuz all the problems i have seen with the IAC make the car stumble and stall cuz its not letting air get past the throttle plate

a couple people told me its a vacuum leak, but everything is hooked up the way it should be and all the lines seem fine, but are the two codes related?

wtf?!?!

check your spacer 0 ring and the tb gasket. it will leak even if it is alittle messed up. that would cause the rpm's to go all crazy and throw that code, happened to me so i just put RTV instead of a gasket and i it was as good as new

but didnt your car NOT want to idle? Kennys is going straight to redline..

kenny wouldnt your car go straight to redline because you ripped the TPS wires out of the sensor? Just get a new sensor or wire harness or whatever it is you need.. cant be that expensive bro.. seriously

spray brake cleaner around the intake manifold. I'll bet you have a leak. The car will spike when the brake cleaner hits the leak.

reason why you went straight up to redline is b/c you probably have a tbolt clamp on your coupler to the throttle body and the screw to tighten it is wedged and probably holding the butterfly on the tb open. reposition your tbolt and it should do the trick

The first thing I told Kenny was to check the movement of the TB blade, he said it was fine.
