UGH, This s**t never ends...

I recently installed a PnP intake mani and a kinetic 60mm tb

when i put everything back together, the wires ripped out of my IAC, but they are still intact with the copper connectors on the ends of the wires...

i put them back in the sensor connector and everything was back the way it should be, and the wires seemed to be making a connection, so i started the bad boy up... well the car shot straight up to redline.

im currently throwing two codes... P0508 and P2074

Which are for intake mani pressure, and the other is for the IAC

is one related to the other? if the IAC isnt working, it wouldnt shoot to redline right? cuz all the problems i have seen with the IAC make the car stumble and stall cuz its not letting air get past the throttle plate

a couple people told me its a vacuum leak, but everything is hooked up the way it should be and all the lines seem fine, but are the two codes related?

boost is reading, now im just running REALLY lean up top, lol

like, im talkin 14.4 A/F

im not gettin on it again, but do you think my A/F's would increase that much with a 60mm TB and a ported Intake Mani?

i know it will have to be adjusted somewhat, but increasing the A/F's by 3? that seems odd

Did you recalibrate your wideband?

no, but idle is fine and so is just normal driving... ill go recalibrate it now

recalibrated it... let it idle... reved it alittle bit... now its not readin boost again, the car stumbles and back fires like crazy around 2000rpms and the code P2074 is back...

i fuckin give up

its a vac leak.. dont be sucha pus and find it and fix it!

well, the leak was coming from the TB, so i took it off, added rtv plus the gasket to the tb put it back on, and went to finish the install and......

my tps is broken, now i need a new one... yay

Hey i know this is an old post but did you find out the issue ? Mine is doing the exact same thing it shoots to redline when i turn the engine on. I don't know where to go from here.
